Inky Blue Dried Bupleurum
Our stunning inky blue, dried Bupleurum is definitely the flower of the moment to add to your mantelpiece. Just a few stems in a bottle or tall vase, really give that natural meadow feel that is perfectly on trend for 2022, with its paired back simplicity and architectural form.
Bupleurum is also very popular as a ‘filler flower’ either fresh or dried. When it's fresh, it has a lovely fresh lime green colour, however when dried the main structure of the stem is revealed. It is from the 'Apiaceae' family and has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine, often used to treat liver complaints
Mix with our delphiniums, grasses and palm leaves with some bleached ruscus & lagurus for an eclectic mixed bouquet, or just pure & simple on its own.
Our beautiful bunches contain approx. 6-8 stems per bunch. The stems are 60cm in length and the bunch is approx. 25cm across, however they will open out much more once arranged. Each stem has at least 2-3 dried inflorescences which have been dyed with water based paint to an inky blue/ purple colour.
