Our Story

The three of us have worked together for some years on different projects and have always had a desire to have something of our own. After many discussions over coffee about our similar values in life, we agreed our combined skill set was too good to not collaborate. Dried & Floral has been created to pass on to our customers the specialist knowledge and advice we have, to help you choose the best products and quality you could wish for.

Our team

Anita is our botanical expert with over 35 years’ experience in the business, having trained in traditional horticulture and then focussing on interior landscaping.  There isn’t anything she doesn’t know about flowers, plants and growing practically anything. You’ll usually find her with her head in a book or her hands in the soil, always learning or growing something interesting. Anita is also the person in the know and can source practically anything you might be looking for, from natural materials, particularly foliage, to dried and artificial flowers from around the world including the more obscure varieties. Combined with her love of nature and animals, you really couldn’t find anyone better to give you advice.

Andrea is our floral expert with 15 years of experience in new product development, floral design, weddings, events, teaching and finance. She loves colour and all of the intricate details in floristry…probably a bit too much if we’re honest! She also possesses an obsession for all things miniature and their perfection.  Andrea is a strong supporter in ethical sourcing and environmental protection, so is continually looking for better packaging, less waste and sustainable products to pass on to our customers in line with our values.

Sandra is our saviour in organisation, admin and finance. With a project management and business background she is used to working in both small enterprises and global companies and is the backbone of our business, always giving a perfect pep talk when needed. You can be assured you’ll be very well looked after, whatever the issue, Sandra will definitely “make a plan”.
